Lutz – A Legacy of Fuel Service Since 1929
In 1929, Lutz opened its first fuel business in Shelby, NC. From the start, the company built its reputation on reliability, personal service, and strong relationships with the community.
In the early 1970s, management was passed down, and and expanded operations throughout western North Carolina. Their commitment to quality service and customer trust allowed the business to thrive for decades.
Now with S&C Fuel – Serving Customers Better Than Ever
Today, Lutz proudly operates as part of the S&C Fuel family. With a blend of decades-old tradition and fresh leadership, our focus remains on delivering dependable fuel solutions while bringing a renewed commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer care.
Whether serving long-time clients or building new partnerships, our mission is simple: put customers first, every time. Backed by the strength of S&C Fuel, we continue to grow while staying true to the values that have defined us for nearly a century.
